Brief:
This three-day course covers the basics of Android application development, from the simplest of applications up through ones that use databases, telephony features, and integrated search capabilities.
Goal:
Students attending this course should obtain a thorough understanding of how to create Android applications, particularly leveraging Android′s UI widget framework.
Who should attend:
Developers or anybody else interested in creating applications for Android devices.
Previous Knowledge:
- Experience with Java programming, enough to know the syntax and basic packages like java.io and java.util
- Experience with some form of widget-based GUI development (Swing, SWT, MFC/WinForms/.NET, GTK, Qt, Flex, XUL, etc.)
