Brief:
This two-day course covers connecting Android applications to the Internet or internal office networks, making use of built-in APIs for HTTP, XML, and JSON, and using powerful features like location tracking, maps, and multimedia.
Goal:
Students attending this course should obtain a solid background in developing Internet-aware Android applications, including creating long-lived background processing services and integrating WebKit-based browsing into their GUIs.
Who should attend:
Developers or anybody else interested in creating network-connected applications for Android devices.
Previous Knowledge:
- Attendance at the Introductory Android course or equivalent experience
