A lot of today's rich media content is distributed trough Adobe's flash technology. Content owners and device makers are eager to serve there customers this experience on Android driven devices.

Our flaTOapk product enables customers to bring this rich media experience to their customer by building a flash solution on Android. Existing content can easily be converted so monetization can start immediately.

We can deliver flaTOapk browser plugins for IE, Firefox, Opera and Webkit. However, there are significant limitations when used to view “open” web content. flaTOapk is optimally suited as standalone player or used to view “closed” content.

 

In order for Flash to work on Android devices we use the following engagement process:

 

Evaluation

• Complete Port Requirements Document

• Execute Eval agreement / SOW. Price determined based on CPU / OS. Jumpstarts available

• Delivery of HW and SDK / toolchain for integration

Certification

• Player must be certified using Adobe test suite prior to distribution.

• Upon completion Adobe delivers formal letter of certification

 

A substantial amount of effort and time has been invested in porting Flash to Android. The solution has been pre-tested by a QA team to reduce future certification efforts.  The port has been built to allow quick integration to custom Android platforms. This allows OEMs and Silicon Vendors to quickly and efficiently integrate Flash based UIs and applications on their device or reference platform and speed time to market. We offer several evaluation JumpStart kits to facilitate the process.
